MCALISTER WINS TREBLE AT U19 NATIONALS IN LISBURN

Sponsored Forza player Adam McAlister from Sligo BC won the mens singles title at the Irish U19 National Championships last weekend without dropping a set, he beat Mark Kinnerk from Dublin in the final 21/13, 27/25. He then took to the court for the mens doubles final with partner, Brian O'Mahony where they beat Sean Patrick-Laureta and Daniel O'Meara 21/8, 21/12. In the final of the mixed doubles Adam partnered Rachael Woods who also won a treble in the Nationals. In the final they had a two set victory over Kyle Magee and Rebecca Woods 21/13, 21/8.

This was an excellent tournament for the young Forza sponsored player who is hoping to be selected to represent Ireland at the U19 European Championships in Estonia in September 2018.

There was also a notable performance from U17 sponsored player Alexandra Troy who reached the final of the doubles, losing out 21/17, 21/18.
